My memory of you two is limited to just a few weeks of limited contact, yet, I remember thinking that I would have enjoyed your friendship.

Connie, I am grieved to hear about Ken's death on September 16. I recall the two of you seemed so healthy and full of life during the first few weeks of last fall while you were attending the Southern Lights square dance classes. One of club members recognized Ken's face and name when they saw the notice in the newspaper, and saved it for me until we returned form a prolonged road trip. Connie, this has to be a really difficult time for you. How wonderful it is that you have the support and love of your church family, and that you also know and love the God of all comfort. Prayers for you my friend. Connie

I had the pleasure of working with Ken for several years at H&R Block. My favorite memory was how his face would light up and he always smiled when he spoke of his son Scott. It was always evident how much he loved Scott and how proud he was of him. Prayers for all of you and I will miss him coming by Binion's to see me.
