Uncle Clar will truly be missed. We will never forget his positive outlook on life, his energy and his endearing personality. I am so glad our kids know him and were able to listen to him tell about his life experiences. They will always remember that Uncle Clar built Marina City as I do every time I visit Chicago. Carol, Judy, and Paul . . . our deepest sympathy to you and your families. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

God blessed so many children and their parents by dear Clarence & Lois's ministry to little ones. They remembered and asked about our daughter for years after she was grown up. Thank you, Jesus for calling dear servants like these who loved as You do. May God's hand be upon your dear family.

Dear Carol, Judy and Paul, I grieve with you for your Dad. Clare was a wonderful person. He was a man of God and served His Savior for many years. He touched many lives including all of us in my family. Clare and Lois showered us with love and encouragement. I always knew their prayers were with us. I remember the fun times at their home in South Holland and being with all three of you.

My Uncle Clare was an amazing man who always inspired me with his glowing personality and gentle demeanor. His love for the small children was always evident, in fact my own children and grandchildren still recall songs that he taught them with wonderful memories. Perhaps above all, he was a man of God and it was extremely obvious to all of us that knew and loved him. I know he has already experienced the grandeur of his place in heaven and I look ahead with great confidence that one day we will meet again. Peace to Carol, Judy and Paul and their families.

Dear Carol and family, So sorry for your loss. He so loved you all, his children and grandchildren and lived a rich full life. What a blessing for you to have had these last weeks with him. I have recollections of your Dad at Lorimer starting 60+ years ago. It was always fun 'sharing' our birthdays on April 7. He was always a gentleman and great encourager. Cherish your memories. Love you.

Carol, How fondly we remember "Bumpa"! How he loved you and the boys!! Your parents visit was always a highlight to the neighborhood, and he was always right out there playing ball, running along side while they learned to ride bikes and smiling! I remember all those things and always his kind words. A true gentleman! We send our deepest condolences and are so glad you were there with him during his transition.
