When I first came to Edneyville it was only for a couple months ( Apple season) then we came back the next year and stayed . I had Mr Montgomery and really had no reason to strick up with my 5th grade teacher but I did and I did n the 7th and each year after. At one point she had a desk pulled up by hers so I wouldn't interrupted her whole class ( yeah right ) we talked about everything under the sun and once we landed on my Grandmother and she realized how bad I loved and missed her, she became my serigant grandmother. I stayed in touch with her even after graduation because she taught my baby sister. There always seemed to be a reason for her to be in my life. I loved and adored her. I was blessed to have her in my life. Maybe because I loved and adored her. She was a blessing to many. I will miss her. I already do.

She let her Christian attributes show in the classroom and out. She use to wash our mouths out with soap for saying dirty words. She was kin to me on the Gentle side. I will really miss her. She was a precious stone in a pile of granite gravel. She was always kind to her neighbors and a super sweet person. Also she was a great school teacher. She will be missed by many . God took home an angel. .

Mrs. E was such a kind and "gentle" person--- her name was what she was--- "Gentle"--As a teacher, she knew what you were capable of and she did expect you to do your best--- but she was always willing to help and lend a hand for anyone needing her help---So Thankful we were at Fruitland Baptist Church with her, where we worked together many times--- I didn't have her for a teacher at school, but several of my brothers did and my brother, Joel, absolutely adored her--- So Blessed to have been good friends with Mrs. E--- we were like Family--- we'll miss her, but we'll see her again "One Sweet Day" and we'll spend Eternity together with Jesus!!! "...the Joy of the Lord is Your Strength." Nehemiah 8:10b GodBlessYourHeart!!!
