Tom was my cousin and during our childhood our families celebrated almost every holiday together. So many memories. I’m smiling now remembering when he took my childhood toys apart—and then miraculously put them back together! Or went after my poor kitty to pull her tail. He and I were about the same age and had fun together growing up.
As an adult, I’ll remember him for his ability to fix anything and do it for you without your even asking, his creativity and insight, his knack for researching things, his love for his pets, his enjoyment of the outdoors, and his cooking skills and appreciation of healthy food. He liked to do things his own way— -but with such a kind and loving heart underneath it all.
He should have lived longer but I’m grateful Kirsten and the family were there for him in his final weeks along with his friends and his wonderful neighbors. I will miss him and send love and sympathy to Kirsten, Karen, Enid (sister) and everyone
who loved him.
