I work with Dave for 30 + years and it feels like I have lost a brother and buddy. He was always there for me plus many fun times together. Yes I am the one that is six months older.

I loved working with Dave and Eva. Dave was my daughter's (Jill Halleckson) work father and looked after her for years. He was a special, special man. Sigh

Had fun times and a lot of laughs with the Cessna Aircraft gang at the Crazy Horse. They sure kept us girls that worked there hopping. So glad I got to know you and your dad Nicol. May he rest in peace. Hugs to you and your family! Now excuse me while I go pop a top and step back in time for a bit.

James Erwin of Wichita Ks worked with David at Cessna in the early 80s. David was the best Lead Man that I ever worked for. He knew his stuff and could give great guidance.

We are sorry to hear of David's passing. Everytime he came to our office, he had a great attitude about life! We will miss seeing him.

May the many happy memories of Dave be a shining light for the Newell family at this sad time. I had the privilege of working with Dave for several years before our retirements. Dave, RIP and if you bump into Marvin, tell him Mac says hello

Fair winds and following seas sailor. "Boatswain... Standby to pipe the side... Shipmate's going Ashore..." Thank you David for your service to this nation. U.S. Navy.

To my niece Nicol and David siblings, may all your great memories give you comfort during this time. David was a big part of my childhood into my adult life. I will remember him always for his teasing ways. I still remember the wrestling matches he would have with myself and my siblings, "Eat the Dirt". So until we meet again in a better place, "Hold on to her newt, we're headed for the buck wheat!"

To my niece Nicol and David's siblings May all the great memories give you comfort during this time. David was a part of my childhood and adult life for a long time, and was always a teasing friend. When I was a child, I can remember the wrestling and goofy things he would do to myself and my siblings. such as "Eat the dirt". So until we meet again in a better place to quote you "Hold on to her Newt, we're headed for the buck wheat!"
