Bernice What a friend we had in Jesus and what a friend He gave me in you! We became friends as new widows and it was such a comfort to share our thoughts, tears, time and memories. We learned to move ahead finding that God had plans for us. You reached out to other widows and started the glory girls luncheons. We learned to laugh and enjoy so many things with a wonderful ever growing group of special ladies. We enjoyed the farmers daughter trip and thanks to Cathy we made it to the Barter theater. You loved serving Him at Biltmore and at MRLEC. Yes, you touched so many lives for good and for Jesus! I know Kim and Tim will be comforted knowing many grieve with them and pray for them.I truly miss you ! Linda

Bernice and my mom worked together for years at Sears. They remained dear friends up to mom’s death in 2010. Bernice stayed in touch and remained dear to me. She was truly a precious person and it was an honor to know her.

Bernice was one of a kind! She was a dear special friend to me! She always had a hug and a big smile! We were both in Ingles after a visit with the same dermatologist. We laughed at each other and accuse the other of frying chicken livers because we each had the little brown blisters on our face! I loved Bernice and she will be greatly missed.

We loved Bernice. She was an adopted member of our family. A truer friend to my parents you would find. Bernice will certainly be missed by our Brown/Conley family. She will always have a special place in our hearts. RIP, sweet lady. Kathy Conley
