Leslie was so kind, gentle, and generous! I was blessed to work closely with her while she took on school testing responsibilities and then as a Tier tutor. Her heart for children was limitless. She was an amazing friend and caring patient listener. Above all she loved her family, dogs included! Her gentle presence is greatly missed.

I am one of the fortunate people who got to know Leslie while working together at Clear Creek. She was a wonderful person, talented and loving. We grieve her loss, and know she will always remain very much alive in the memories of those who loved, respected, and treasured her. I send my love and heartfelt sympathies to her darling Tally and the entire family.

Mrs. Nawrocki was teaching at Clear Creek the same time I attended. She never failed to have a smile on her face and a friendly wave whenever you passed by. She would always make you feel seen. Whether it was when she would crack a joke or compliment you on your outfit. Mrs Nawrocki was a beautiful soul. And she will be so beyond missed.

My friend Leslie was my very first friend in Jacksonville Florida in 1982. We have stayed in touch all these years, and I was so fortunate to get to see here up in Fletcher last September and share some wonderful days together. She took me to see one of her favorite waterfalls. Leslie’s quiet “coolness” & her sweet nature will be sorely missed by all who loved her.

Leslie was a dear friend of mine, and I will miss her dearly. She was a true friend when I needed one, and always had a kind word for me when I was troubled. I will miss our breakfasts at Scrambles. She will forever be with me in my memories.
