Ackie I am in shock after finding out you and Joanne had both passed in 2020. I just found out today 6/14/21. I had hoped, I guessed that you both would live forever, but am comforted knowing you will in Heaven...I could write a book about you both, but you will always be legends to me when I pass by The Esmeralda...To the family, I am so very sorry and send my love and condolenses...xoxox9

Ackie and Joanne brought their special light into every place they were, allowing those around them to bask in their kindness. They left all of us better for having known them and they will remain in our hearts with deep affection.

There are so many wonderful memories we share with both of your parents. They welcomed us into their lives 10 years ago when we opened Medina's. We hold their friendship dear in our hearts forever. We will miss them so so very much! I still feel like they are with us every day. Please know that we are thinking of all of you during this difficult time❤️

Your loss is tragic. You have our deepest sympathy and condolences. The loss is not yours alone. Losing JoAnne and Ackie is a tremendous loss to those who have loved them, the community, the Church, and our fire department. All of us will miss them greatly. You, the kids, have been wonderful in your tireless support and love. A hard loss for you, and for us.
