Condolences for Doris Reece Leissing

I met Doris in 2018 when I was working as a server at Garlik Vegan in Horse Shoe. She was full of love and light; beautiful spirit. Doris always made my day when she came in to eat lunch at the restaurant. I remember telling her about my struggle to find a church in the Hendersonville area. And she had told me about Upward Christian Fellowship. I went about a month after she had told me and knew it was the right church for me. If it wasn't for Doris, I would have never went to UCF. I am deeply saddened about the passing of Doris, but I know she is in heaven with the Lord. Doris made a difference in my life, and I will forever be grateful. I send my condolences and sympathy to Doris' family and loved ones.

Goodby sweet cousin, friend and fellow genealogy seeker. Our "cousin time" last summer will forever be the highlight of 2019. You will now have the pleasure of meeting all of those people that make up our charts. But the greatest pleasure of all will be meeting your (and mine) Savior ... face to face. Condolences to all of your family; Henry, Heather, Christopher, Rebecca and the Grandchildren.

I was fortunate to grow up with Doris in school and in church in Mountain City, TN. I and the 1960 graduating class of Johnson County High School will miss her terribly when we have our reunions. I Don’t think Doris ever missed on in all these years. Our thoughts and prayers are with Henry and her family during thi time.
