Peggy was a true southern lady and an inspiration to many who knew her. I have many happy memories of dear Peggy when we worked together at Enka Middle School. Her smile brightened our day! She will be missed, but not forgotten.

Sorry to read that Peggy passed away. I worked with her at Enka Middle School and we also enjoyed meeting each other for dinner on several occasions. I consider her a friend and it is sad she is no longer with us. Sincere condolences to all family and friends.

I knew Peggy some but not well. I knew her parents very well and grew up down the street from them. I learned to swim in their rock pool. My mother and Johnsie were close when they were growing up. I was so sorry to hear about Peggy and send you all my sincere condolences.

I taught with Peggy st Enka Middle School some years ago. She was always smiling and helping someone with a good word or good deed. We went to the same hairdresser Chuck for many years. Rest In Peace dear Friend . You will not be forgotten ❤️

In recent months Peggy became a friend. From our first visit, you could feel the love and caring spirit she had for all people. She took time to talk with the ones she met, was interested in sharing her stories and was genuinely interested in learning about what was going on in their lives. What a blessing she was in my life if only for a short time...

Peggy was a hairdresser buddy for years, and a great friend. I shall miss her and our long phone conversations, from time to time. She was a very “special” lady!
