Some of the class of 1962 were having dinner at a private residence in Fairview when we learned the news of his passing. John was a great friend, athlete, so fun to be around. We talked at our annual reunion for quite awhile and it was the first time we had seen him in several years. Classmates, Keith & Nancy Morton, Bill Keys, Frank Duckett.

John was my first cousin and good friend! We had many great times together. He was the reason I followed him to King’s College. John was a good man, and I will miss him! My thoughts and prayers are with Judy and their family.❤️

Dear Alice and Judy: My deepest sympathy in the passing of your dear brother and husband, John. I always enjoyed talking with John about the latest sports news over the years. Without a doubt John was one of the best playmakers at Reynolds in the early 60s when their basketball team was so successful. He will be greatly missed. Once again, my deepest sympathy.
