Kristen and Tracy, unable to be with you Friday but you are in my thoughts. I was privileged to count your mother as my friend and coworker. She even talked me into helping her wallpaper your bedrooms tho I had never done that! We shared laughs and tears and I will remember a strong and loving woman. Sara Lee Nickell

I only met her awhile after becoming a near neighbor. She seemed like she was a wonderful person. Now her spirit is with God. Now she is healed. God bless her!

My heart goes out to the family. Whenever a person leaves us here on earth it is very hard for us. We want to keep our loved ones close. We need to remember that her spirit will always be with us. May you rest in peace Andy.

I am saddened to hear that one of my favorite (and powerfully impactful) teachers from East has joined the angels above. Her words from 20+ years ago remain with me to this very day. She empowered me, she inspired me and she promoted an environment where I felt safe to be myself. She saw me Which, as a teenager trying to figure out your place in the chaotic world of high school, was everything. She valued me for my uniqueness and helped me recognize my strengths. She was truly a remarkable human being and I have no doubt she will be an extraordinary angel.

She was one of the few teachers I truly trusted and looked up too. I feel she had a lot to do with the woman I’ve become. Prayers going up for the family.
