William ìMacî McCraw, 85, of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Memory Logan and Bonnie Sexton McCraw. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Tootsie Clark and Lucille McCraw; brothers, Bob and Larry McCraw.
Mac achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class during his 20+ years of service in the U. S. Army. Following his retirement from the service, he worked at GE for 23 years in light repair. Mac was a member of Main Street Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, choir member, Sunday school teacher, building and grounds.
He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne McCraw; daughters, Kim Rollins and her husband Leon, Tracy Bostian and her husband Jon; son, Bill Jecker, Jr.; grandchildren, Kristin Wolk (James), Aaron Rollins, Jackson Bostian, Judge Bostian and Aubrey Bostian; great-grandchildren, Leon Rollins, Hailey Rollins and Garrett Wolk; sisters, Edith Drew and Carolyn Cooper; brothers, Clarence, Mack ìDinkî, Tommy and Guy McCraw.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Main Street Baptist Church Hendersonville. Reverend Carl Connelly will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in Shepherd Memorial Park.

I'm so sorry for your loss, heaven definitely gained an angel! It was a long time ago that I met Mr. McCraw and he was a very kind man! My thoughts and prayers are with you all! I love you guys!
