Suzanne Rose Duncan, 54, of Flat Rock passed away suddenly Sunday, March 8, 2015.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was the daughter of Hazel M. Duncan of Flat Rock and the late Roy C. Duncan. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Duncan.

Suzanne attended AB Tech and Mars Hill College and was a member and church pianist at Long Shoals Baptist Church. She enjoyed music, photography and spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, Suzanne is survived by her sisters, Marilyn Duncan and Jeanette House and husband, Preston; her brothers, Bruce Duncan and wife, Stacy, and David Duncan and wife, Tracy; nieces and nephews, Marc Fletcher, Mandi Smith, Walt Fletcher, Andrew House, Amber Neal, Hannah Duncan, Matthew Duncan, Brandon Duncan, Chrissy Duncan, Elizabeth Duncan, Stephanie Strickland, Jessica Strickland, and Travis Strickland; aunts and uncles, Marie Bagwell, Bobby McMinn and wife, Pat, Audrey Magness and Marie Duncan.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Living Water Church. Pastor Roger Reardon and Reverend Dan Blackwell will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
