Samuel “Sam” David McKeown, 41, of Hendersonville, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Elizabeth House following injuries sustained in an automobile accident. A native of Chester, SC, he was a son of the late Lloyd and Linda McKeown. He had resided in Henderson County over the past 6 years.

Sam loved anything outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He was an avid music fan, and could often be found listening to the radio. He had a love for art, and enjoyed drawing whenever he could.
He is survived by his loving wife, Winde McKeown; daughters, Angel Turk, and Brandy McKeown; son, Jody McKeown; brother, Eric McKeown; sister-in-law, Deborah Lanning and 2 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Monday, April 18, 2016 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home with Brian Allen officiating.

    I remember Sam when he was just a young boy. His dad Lloyd and I used to coach Little League together and we both worked at Schlegel in Chester. May God bless your family during this time of pain.
