Bob was born to John and Janet Frederick on July 03, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois.  Upon graduation from high school, he moved with his parents to Pasadena, California where he attended the University of Southern California until entering the United States Army, where he served from 1953 to 1955.  Bob then pursued his passion for the movie industry and began a 38-year-career with Warner Brothers in Burbank, California in 1956.  The majority of his time was spent in publicity and on promotional tours for new release movies.  During this time, he met his wife Karen and they married in 1985.

Upon retirement in 1994, Bob and Karen moved to Hendersonville, North Carolina.  They became members of the Hendersonville Country Club where they golfed and met many wonderful new friends.  Bob spent several years volunteering for the Sheriff’s Department, which he thoroughly enjoyed.  He remained an avid movie enthusiast, as well as a lover of all sports and was a devoted Dodger fan.
