Our deepest condolences. I've had to crawl in the back of an ambulance on more than one occasion with her when tending to a sick child at school, and once my child at home. She was an amazing woman. She did her job, and left no room for question (because you knew she knew what she was doing), and tempered it with care and compassion. We are a part of the HFD family, and though our meetings there and at other stations, we developed a real love and respect for her. She will be missed.
