Penny Dugan, 51, of Flat Rock, NC, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 7, 2010 from the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.

Born in Henderson County, she was the daughter of Nannie Nesbitt Randolph and the late J.C. Randolph.

She served in the US Air Force and was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Tabitha Byas and husband, Tim; two grandchildren, Cody Wills and Morgan Byas; her ex-husband, Todd Dugan of Arizona; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Sunday, January 10, 2010 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home with Military Honors conducted by Hubert M. Smith American Legion Post 77, Hedrick-Rhodes Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5206, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 14. . Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at the home of Louise Bishop after the service.
