Peggy Jane Jones Blaha, age 68, went to Heaven at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, NC September 4, 2019 due to heart and kidney failure.

Peggy was born in Montour Falls, NY July 4, 1951 and was the daughter of Harold Jones and Elizabeth Stocking Jones of Dundee, NY.

Peggy graduated from Dundee Central School, attended Corning Community College (Corning, NY) and graduated with honors from AB Technical College (Asheville, NC)

Peggy married Steve Blaha and enjoyed a wonderful life with him until his death on their 13th anniversary. Peggy’s sister, Judi Jones of Hendersonville, NC also preceded her in death.

Peggy was employed in the health care field for over 25 years for Home Health in upstate NY and Four Seasons Hospice in Hendersonville, NC.

Peggy was a caring person with a kind smile who was always willing to help others. She will always be missed.

She is survived by her three sons; Wesley Berryman and Jamie Berryman (fiancé Shannon) of Hendersonville, NC and Jeremy Berryman of Greer, SC.  Peggy leaves her sister Barbara Pitcher (Lawrence) of Hendersonville, NC and her brother Gary Jones (Ruthie) of Rock Stream, NY.

A memorial service for Peggy will be held on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Shuler Funeral Home on Orr’s Camp Rd., Hendersonville, NC.

The family suggests memorials to Four Seasons Hospice, 571 S. Allen Rd., Flat Rock, NC 28731
