Pauline S. Corbett, 69, of Hendersonville passed away Tuesday, August 6, at her home. A native of New York, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Pauline Valenti. She was a graduate of Hofstra University and had been employed by Allstate as a claims adjuster, retiring in 2010 after 36 years of service. She had lived in Hendersonville for 8 months. An expert in Sicilian and BBQ cooking, she had been a KCBS BBQ judge since 2007. She was of the Catholic faith. Pauline is survived by her husband, Dennis; two children, Joseph and Cira Corbett; sister, Rosalie Morisie and her husband Bob and the Dennis Corbett family of ten children. A memorial mass will be celebrated 2:00 pm Tuesday, August 13, in the Our Lady of the Angels Chapel of Immaculate Conception Church. The family will receive guests in the St. Francis Hall of the Church following the service.
