    Pat Wright says:
The first time I met Penny she was House Treasurer as my husband I were House chairs at LYC. She later went on to be the Club Secretary when I started creating the LYC directory. She was wonderful at both roles and helped us immensely. Later she taught me how to play Mahjong, a game I now love. I will miss you!

    Joe & Judy Farfalla says:
Penny was such an integral part of LYC. When Joe & I were membership chairs Penny was part of our committee & had been in previous years. She was a great secretary. I remember she used a recorder at meetings so as not to miss anything. You would always see her serving food or volunteering at various club events. My first & funniest time with Penny was our decision to take sailing lessons on the club boat. We capsized & tried to get back in the boat, but we were all laughing so hard we didn’t make it! We will miss her & we send our sincere condolences to Fred & their family!

Penny was such an integral part of LYC. She was on the membership committee when Joe & I were chairpersons & had been for years. As secretary you could always count on her to ‘record’ the meetings on the recorder she always used. Penny could be seen volunteering at various events. My funniest time spent with Penny was our decision to take a sailing lesson on one of the club boats. We capsized & tried to get back in the boat, but we were laughing so hard it didn’t go very smoothly. We will miss her & our heartfelt sympathies go out to Fred & their family.
