Patricia J. Siebert

Patricia J. Siebert, 89, formerly of Alexandria, VA passed away at Carolina Reserve of Hendersonville in Hendersonville, NC on Monday, August 26, 2019.

Pat was born in Winchendon, MA.  She was the daughter of the late David and Mary Martin. Pat was a member of the Catholic faith. While working in Sasebo, Japan Pat met and married Frederick (Fred) Siebert, of Charleston, SC in 1955.  Pat and Fred were married for more than 59 years.  Col. Fred Siebert passed away in 2014.  Pat is also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Catie Siebert and by a son-in-law, Michael Dickson.

Pat and Fred lived in many interesting locations including Japan, Germany, Turkey, Singapore, and numerous East Coast cities.  In the early 1970s, they settled in Alexandria, VA where they remained in retirement.  They loved to travel in their RV and visit places from Nova Scotia to Florida. 

She is survived by her four children, five grandchildren and one great grandson. Her son Mark Siebert (Mary) of Kansas and their daughter Leah, and Mark’s grandson Dominic Siebert;  her daughter Patsy DuPre (John) of North Carolina and their daughter, Annie DuPre Reynolds (Ricky) of South Africa, and son John DuPre Jr. of Colorado; her son Derick Siebert (Aggie) and their daughters Claudia and Mary Elizabeth of South Carolina; and son Dana Dickson Siebert of South Carolina.

Pat will be warmly remembered for her love of travel and for her delight in hearing the sound of ocean waves, especially at Cape Cod and Folly Beach.

Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a time to be announced.
