Patricia M. Crites, of Hendersonville, went to be with the Lord Sunday, October 5, 2008 at Pardee Hospital. A native of Anniston, Alabama, she had lived in Henderson County for the last 26 years. She was the daughter of the late Oran Henry McElroy and Dorothy May Forsythe and wife of the late Ervin Crites.

Patricia was a member of First Wesleyan Church and worked as a fruit picker and delivered newspapers.

She is survived by one brother, Robert McElroy of Dana; and three nephews, Shane Cook, Jerome Cook, and Nathan McElroy

    My parents knew Pat and her husband many years ago when they bought milk from them. I was very sad to hear of her passing. I will be praying that God will send you his peace during this horrible time.
