Michael Tony Hoots, 64, of East Flat Rock, NC passed away Sunday, October 11, 2020 at AdventHealth Hendersonville.
Born in Hendersonville, NC, Michael was the son of the late Tony and Ruby Hoots. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Bobby.
After attending East Henderson High School, Michael farmed with his family, worked in different plants and was a general laborer. For the past ten years, Michael was disabled. Michael loved spending time with his grandchildren and crafting jewelry and crosses. He was of the Baptist faith.
Michael is survived by his sons, Jason Hoots (Joanne), Jacob Hoots and Josh Hoots; grandchildren, Blake Lively, Aniyah Hoots, Zayden Hoots, Josalina Hoots and Ayden Hoots; sisters, Sandra Womack (Johnny) of Forest City, NC and Debbie Caudle (Gary) of Flat Rock, NC; and brother, Terry Hoots (Debbie) of Dana, NC.
The Hoots family were emotionally and financially unprepared to deal with this loss.
