Michael Taylor, 36, of Saluda lost his battle with addiction on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in Hendersonville. He was a lifelong resident of Western North Carolina and was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Michael had attended East High School in his younger years and was employed with his father as a plumber. He was of the Baptist faith and loved being outdoors for anything, especially fishing. Michael had a passion for motorcycles and had raced motocross for many years. Above all things, nothing compared to the love he had for his children. He was crazy about them and he cherished every moment he had with them and always strived to be a better father and dad.

He is survived by his mom, Betty Waddell McCall and her husband, Wayne; dad, Doug Taylor; brothers, Scott Taylor and his wife, Amanda, Tony Cardinale and his wife, Jennifer of Queen Creek, AZ; his children, Riley Taylor, Bryson Tinsley and Kynleigh Taylor; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private family service will be held in the future.

“Addiction battles always have losers, and unfortunately most of the time it involves people outside of the fight.” ~Scott Taylor

Sweet Michael....I didn’t know him extremely well but every time he has ever been in my house he was a respectful, kind-hearted soul who had a huge heart and was always willing to help with anything. The last few times he came over it was just as I was coming home from grocery shopping and he always helped me carry them in. When he left the last time I teased him saying come back next Wednesday, same time, same place! Rest In Peace Michael I will always remember you fondly
