Max Beddingfield, 86, of Tuxedo went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at the Elizabeth House after a period of declining health.
A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, Max was a son of the late Irving and Leila Capps Beddingfield. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Beddingfield, who died in 2000, and by six brothers and three sisters.
Max was an avid lover of tractors and cars and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of Tuxedo First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, Wayne Beddingfield and his wife, Teresa; and daughter, Lisa Hill and her husband, David, all of Zirconia; grandchildren, Michaela and Marissa Hill, Heather Bagwell and Silina Beddingfield; sisters, Maude Harris and Eula DeSoto; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10 am Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Tuxedo First Baptist Church Cemetery. The Reverend Shannon Owen will officiate.
