    Anne Gallagher, Pittsburgh PA says:
Dennis, please accept our condolences on the loss of Mary. Mary was not only my aunt, but my godmother as well. She was always willing to spend time with us growing up....she took us ice-skating, swimming, on picnics, to the zoo. We used to all pile into "Bessie", her trusty grey Ford Falcon, and off we'd go. She and Gram took me to Florida one year on vacation with them, driving endless days on Skyline Drive (or so it seemed to me at 7 years old).....trees, trees, more trees! What great memories. Mary was a woman of great faith; there was no problem or situation that a novena couldn't resolve. Once she moved to North Carolina, we did not see her often enough, but she was always in our thoughts. Rest In Peace, Mary. Anne

    Dorothy Cain Gallagher says:
I will miss my big sister Mary Catherine. Since we lived so far apart, I did not see her as often as I would have liked to, but we talked on the phone. I have many memories of our growing-up years. She was always there when I needed her. She always loved animals, especially cats, and because of her, I now care for feral cats in my neighborhood. I hope she is at peace, and has reunited with Mom, Dad, Bernie and John in a better place. Rest in Peace,Mary.

Dennis, I was sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's passing. She took us on many trips in her old Falcon, Bessie. We'll all miss her.

    Mary Gallagher says:
Uncle Dennis: So sorry to hear of Aunt Mary's passing-it must be very difficult for you. Not only was she my favorite Aunt, but, I was her favorite niece too, as I was named after her. She always called me Rascal, because I was so devilish when she took us on picnics, and swimming at North Park. She taught me how to swim, how to ice skate, and she loved to drive with her elbow perched out the open window of her trusty Bessie. Please take good care of yourself, Mary Gallagher
