Mary Ann Pittillo Heaton, 78 of Hendersonville died Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Universal Health Care. She was born in Henderson County, a daughter of the late Curtis and Ruby Pittillo and was also preceded in death by her sisters Betty Jo Nix (Clarence) and Rita Ward (Raymond); and brothers Aaron Pittillo and Perry Pittillo.

She is survived by her husband Douglas Eugene Heaton; daughters Alisa Dean, Gloria Heaton, and Teresa Blythe (Cote`); sons Gene Sizemore, Dewayne Sizemore and Terry Heaton; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters Martha Cable (Donald) and Pat Bynum; brother Jack Pittillo and wife Ethel; many nieces and nephews; and special friends Betty Capps (Wayne), Mary Hyder (Clifford), and Dorothy Bott (Duane).

A funeral will be held at 2:00pm on Friday in the Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. Rev. Caleb Kurbis will officiate. Burial will follow in Berea Baptist Church Cemetery.
