Haynes loved to read, and he and Argyll for many years had a Monday “date night” at Barnes and Noble.  He also enjoyed feeding the deer, turkeys, squirrels, birds, and other wildlife in his yard.  Haynes was a fine Christian man, full of integrity, honest, compassionate, courteous, classic, the quintessential Southern gentlemen, always ready to help others at all times.  He had a beautiful smile, a gentle demeanor, and loved his family immensely.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St Jude’s Childrens Hospital or to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Condolence cards may be sent to the Dorn family at PO Box 1824, Flat Rock NC 28731.
