Lisa “Annie” Lamb Merritt, 57, of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021.

Annie was born in Houston, TX on July 31, 1964, to Robert Henry Lamb and the late Nancy Davis Lamb.

Prior to living in Hendersonville, Annie lived in Asheville, NC and Nebo, NC.  Annie received her Bachelor’s in Fine Arts at The University of North Carolina Asheville in 1995.

Annie was a devoted wife, homemaker, artist, collector, and adult care provider.  She was also a lifelong church member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Annie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard Hyde Merritt III; daughter, Nancy Elizabeth Merritt (Damon Magnuson); father, Robert Henry Lamb; and sister, Mary Elizabeth Lamb.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church in Asheville, NC on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 3PM with The Rev. Karla Woggon officiating.
