Linda M. Sanders, age 79, of Etowah, North Carolina, passed away on Thursday, June 09, 2022 at Memorial Campus of Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.  Born in Paragould, Arkansas on August 24, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John M. and Virginia Morris.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, John M. Morris.

 

Linda, who was co-owner of the family business, Blue Ridge Pizza Company in Etowah with her husband, Tom, took great pride in creating different recipes.  It truly did her heart good to spend time with not only her family, but the wonderful customers through the years.

 

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Tom S. Sanders; one daughter, Leigh Owens and her husband, Bill of Mills River, North Carolina; one son, Tommy Sanders and his wife, Christin of Etowah, North Carolina; four grandchildren, Sydney Owens, Nolan Dimsdale, Peyton Dimsdale and Carson Dimsdale; one sister, Sarah Laskaris and her husband, Alex of Franklin, Tennessee; and one brother, George Morris of Evans, Georgia.

 

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. at Etowah United Methodist Church with Pastor Richard Buff officiating.
