Gifts & Memorial Donations

Linda “Lynn” Carlisle, 58, of Hendersonville passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Pardee Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Greenwood, SC, she was a daughter of the late Fred and Jean Walker. She had resided in Henderson County for the past 30 years and was currently employed as an assembly tech at Nypro.

Lynn loved her family greatly and enjoyed spending time with them, especially her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook big Sunday dinners and have all the family over to enjoy it with her. Lynn was very artistic and enjoyed applying her artistic talents in the way of jewelry making, beading, and painting pictures. She never turned down an opportunity to go to yard sales, flea markets or thrift stores looking for things she may be able to use. Lynn enjoyed gardening, reading, and cooking in her spare time and was known to always keep a very clean house.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Kim Nance and her husband, Adam; sons, Ryan Carlisle and Cory Carlisle; grandchildren, Caleb and Jacob Nance; sister, Lori “Cricket” Walker; and her beloved Chihuahua, Taz.

A Celebration of Lynn’s life will be held from 3 to 4 pm on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in the Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. This will be an informal event in which the family will be gathered to share stories with each other and friends, during which time a slide show of photos and an array of music will be played as everyone mingles.

The family has requested that memorial contributions in Lynn’s honor be made to help cover unforeseen final expenses that they are now left with. Contributions may be offered by Clicking Here.
