Lillie B. Friend, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 24, 2017.
Lillie was born November 6, 1928 in Joiner, AR to Charles E. Walker and Deamie B. Gates. She grew up in Memphis, TN and was active in the USO and crowned “Miss Army Depot” during WWII. She graduated from The American Business School with a degree in Business Management. During her lifetime, her line of business was sales. She is survived by her husband of 39 years and 4 months, Ken A. Friend; daughters, Leslea Fargnoli (Michael) and Ila Pandegirot; step-children, Arland (Marcia), Kevin, Brian (Keely), and Theresa Friend, and Mary Haynes; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
