Mr. and Mrs. Fisher came into our lives by a Border Collie Puppy in 1997, we were home on leave (was stationed in Jacksonville FL with Florida Army National Guard flying helicopters) visiting my Parent's in Asheville where I grew up. We saw a small add in the newspaper (which we still have) advertising Border Collie Puppies. We went to the Fishers home and got a wonderful demonstration of herding by Mr. Fisher's dogs, we purchased a female puppy and named her Jen. She lived till 2012 a blessed 15 years of which over the course of those we visited the Fishers many times, they became and remain the dearest of our Family to this day. We actually got a second Border Collie puppy named Elly but sadly she lived only a short time. Mr. Fisher was a very special Man and I looked to him many times for advice, he had a deep kind spirit, his Wife Ms. Pat is an Angel as kind as they come. Mr. Fisher left an indelible mark on our hearts and souls and not just by his wonderful Dogs but by whom he was personally, always caring, always gentle and a Pillar of a Man that is rare ever seen today, God Rest His Soul, and he would say of his Beloved Border Collies, Job Well Done, "That'll Do".......... We Love and Miss You Sir...
