Larry “Randy” Randolph Holbert of Hendersonville, North Carolina went to rest in the arms of his Lord and Savior on February 3, 2021, after prolonged illnesses. A Henderson County native, he was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. Holbert and Hattie Wicker Gray. He loved fishing and hunting in Canada and spent much of his time at his beloved Crab Creek Catfish Pond. He was the co-owner of L&R and Sons with his brother.
He is survived by daughter Teresa Holbert Philpot (David), son Dwayne Holbert (Susan), son Tony Holbert (Trish), five grandchildren: Jessica Stepp Edney (Justin), Caitlin Stepp Barry (Patrick), Jacob Holbert (Lori), Noah Alfred, Liam Alfred, one great-grandchild, Carter Lance Edney, sister Robbie Parris and brother Pete Gray (Connie), and cherished nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 in the chapel of Shuler Funeral Home with Reverend Carroll Poole officiating. All Covid-19 safety guidelines are in place; please wear a mask and respectfully social distance.

Larry was such a sweet but stubborn man. Thats what made Larry Larry! Wouldnt have changed him for the world. I was lucky enough to have known him and was lucky enough to have met his sweet sister robbie and his caregiver Tater. You will be missed but you are no longer suffering.
