Larry John Tharp, 81, of Hendersonville, NC passed from this life on Tuesday, April 5th, 2022 at his home. He was born in Kingsley, MI in May of 1940 to John and Susie Tharp.

Larry is survived by Janet Weerstra Tharp, his wife of sixty one years, their two children; Tom (Cheryl) Tharp and Martha (Mark) Christopher.

Larry had six grandchildren; Kelsey Tharp and Ben Tharp; and Martin (Paige) Christopher, Emily Christopher (Evan) Sizemore, Mary Christopher, and Caroline Christopher, as well as two great granddaughters; Saylor and Marlowe Christopher.  Larry is also survived by a sister; Linda Tharp Bremer (Lynn) Patton and two nephews; Joel and Jason. A brother; Michael R. (Patty) Tharp and nieces and nephews; Matt, Sarah, Nathan, Meghan (Jordan), and Lindsey; great niece and nephews Ella, Isaac, and Emeric.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30th, at 10:30 AM at  Mount Pisgah Lutheran Church, 2606 Chimney Rock Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792 (US 64 East).
