I worked with Kristen, but she was so much more than a coworker. Our small group of women was so close. We ate lunch together everyday. We supported each other in the crazy day to day of work. Kristen was one of the first people who knew I was pregnant after trying for years, and she was one of the people who loved and supported me when we lost our baby. When she found out we were expecting our miracle baby, she was so excited, and checked on me often. She was such a light. I will miss her terribly. All my prayers and love to her family.

I always got the biggest kick out of how ticklish her calves were when she was little. Her mom and dad knew exactly how to tickle her on her calves. One day I tried but it didn't work. I hurt her a little. Not much but enough for her to say ouch so I stopped. I still feel bad about that. But I just really wanted to tickle her and hear her laugh. She had a great laugh. She was always so sweet. Never an asshole. And she was genuine in her personality. She never seemed to try to be anything according to others. Just herself. I always admire that in a person. I remember that at one point, when she was young... maybe in middle school she had a favorite pair of jeans ... they were puple.... she wore them everyday during 1 visit when her and Steven came down to visit Grams... just one of those things that u could tell she was her own person and didn't give a shit what anyone thought of her. She was gonna wear her favorite purple jeans every single day if that's what she wanted lol The last time we texted was just to say hi and tell each other that we love each other. When we finished up our conversation she didn't just say "I love u" to say goodbye, but rather "love u mean it." I had never heard anyone ever say thst before. So everytime thereafter when she would cross my mind, I could always hear her n my mind saying "love u mean it." That was years ago. I don't remember how many.. maybe somewhere around 8 years ago. The funny or weird thing is thst she had been on my mind over the last 5 days or so and I was thinking, planning even, on sending her one of those random texts just to say hi and tell her thst I was thinking about her and still all I could hear in my mind was her saying "love u mean it," Cuz that was the last thing she ever said to me.

I find peace in knowing that Kristen was a Christian and is in Heaven now. However, my heart certainly breaks for her children, Steve, Dianne, Steven, and Holly. The hole in their hearts can’t possibly be filled, but it’s my sincere hope and prayer that they will all be filled with a peace that can only be provided by our amazing God during these dark days. As Kristen’s cousin, my sister and I use to go to North Carolina during the summers. I vividly remember how welcoming both she and Steven always were and the huge smile she had on her face when we pulled up the driveway. In fact, she was already waiting outside for our arrival! When you saw that smile there is no way you could keep from smiling back! The joy she had and that glow on her face. She could light up the room! Kristen was truly a very sweet little girl (as long as Steven was leaving her Barbies alone ;-) and I remember all of us watching Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang every day it seemed like. There wasn’t much else to do up on that mountain, but having each other was always enough. We found ways to entertain ourselves. Uncle Steve worked a lot of hours, but when he did finally get to come back home Kristen and Steven were totally over the moon! It was the highlight of their day seeing dad come home, and again, you’d see that big and beautiful smile from ear to ear on daddy’s little girl as he embraced her. I am thankful for so many great memories with Kristen. Rest In Peace Kristen and please give Gram and Grandpa Foster our love! P.S. Do all cats go to Heaven too? If so, send us a sign! I know you loved kitty cats!

I remember that that she was a pleasant spirited person that can say I enjoyed being around. May God accept you into his fold Kristen, and bring peace to all the family and friends.

Kristen and I went to school together and recent years have regained contact. She had always been such a kind soul. She gave off a energy that was warm and welcoming, never judgemental or harsh. Friendship with her was easy. She is so intelligent and charasmatic. It broke my heart to hear of her loss. Kristen will missed dearly and I pray the Lord will comfort those who are hurting from the loss of a wonderful woman.

The sun is shining, sky so blue, trees dancing in the wind and you are dead. How can this be, 4 hours you have been dead, i wont ever see you again, how can this be. Your a daughter of my heart and soul, you let me love your children, you gave me belonging. now your gone, forever. I’ve known Kristen for 25 years and she was my best friend. Of all the memories, the simplest ones were the ones I remembered the most, like staying up all night playing board games and cards or just walking through the apple orchard talking about boys.She’d kick my butt in rummy almost every time and the smile she’d have was priceless. Every memory I have of her, she is always smiling because she was just a beautiful person all around. I can’t believe I’ll never see her beautiful face again, so our memories will live on and she will always be with me. I love you Kristen.
