Kalain Frazier, 34, of Hendersonville unexpectedly went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2019 at his residence. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he is the son of Revonda Russell and Lee Frazier. He received his bachelor’s degree in hospitality and tourism from Western Carolina University and was in the restaurant industry in Henderson County for the past 10+ years. Many folks have enjoyed his culinary creations over the years.
Kalain was of the Baptist faith and was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and hiking. He loved his family with all his heart and enjoyed spending every moment he could with them. He also had much love for his dogs. Kalain was a selfless man who made a career out of loving and helping others.
He is survived by his mother, Revonda Russell and her husband Richard; father, Lee Frazier and his wife, Audry; brother, Steven Russell and his wife, Tiffany; nephew, Hunter Russell; niece, Taylor Russell; numerous cousins as well as his work and college family.
A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 21, 2019 in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home 538 Tracy Grove Rd. Hendersonville, NC. The family will receive friends following the service.

Kalain was an intelligent, kind, caring and thoughtful man. I know his family and friends will miss his presence. I worked with him for about 6 months. In that time I learned a lot about him and what he stood for. He was a good hearted man. My condolences to you all.
