Mrs. Heggoy was one of the highlights of my high school experience. Every day in Spanish class with her was a joy.

The world has lost a loving, understanding person. We would meet once a year to discuss financials, our families, life (and the challenges of raising kids). A quiet, thoughtful listener, gently sharing her fountain of wisdom.. Always managed to rasise her spirits and have a positive attitude, no matter that she was in a constant battle with her health. I woke up Monday morning, thinking about her, as we had not spoken in 3 months. It must have been her touch, and I am blessed. Sincerely, Kareem.

    Kim and David Arrowood says:
Julie was such a good friend of mine for many years. We have loved her so much! I have been thinking about her all week and just saw her obituary tonight. She was a very important part of the Tracy Grove Community Club. We talked every few weeks and we are really going to miss her. I love you Julie and I know you are an angel now. I just wish we could have talked again before you passed. Our prayers are with all of your family. You will be missed so much in this community and as a very close friend.

My deepest sympathy. Julianne Heggoy was one of my Spanish teachers at Blue Ridge Community College. She was a wonderful teacher and person. She had the class at her home once. I remember the llamas.
