Joyce Schoenfeld, 80, of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday, August 1, at Pardee Hospital. A native of Louisville, KY, she had lived in Florida and Tennessee prior to moving to Hendersonville 15 years ago. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Hendersonville Elks Lodge. She was preceded in death by a son, Mark Weir.
Mrs. Schoenfeld is survived by her husband of 34 years, Marvin Schoenfeld; two daughters, Linda Santisteban and Peggy Arledge; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Santisteban, Danny Santisteban and Tera Morris; 4 sisters and 1 brother.
A funeral will be held 10 am Monday, August 5, in the Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain. The family will receive guests from 6 until 8pm Sunday, August 4, at Shuler Funeral Home.
