Joseph John ìJoeî Schreiner, 76, of Flat Rock, passed away on Saturday morning, November 29, 2008, after a brief illness. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Catherine Schreiner.

He spent four years in the US Navy during the Korean War. He taught auto body repair for twenty years in Mineola, NY before retiring to Hendersonville in 1992.

He was an avid golfer, hunter, and fisherman. He was a lover of Jack Russell Terriers and also was a ìpretty fine dancerî. He was a member of Hubert M. Smith American Legion Post 77.
