You have always had such a big heart. I remember the 12 year old little boy who thought taco pizza was the best thing ever when we ordered it the first time :) I can hear you still, baby-talking Sandy. So cute! You were always fun to be around, and truly one of the nicest guys around! Its no surprise you left this world a hero. I will miss you Steven. You, Alisha, Carrissa and Lisa were my family when I needed you, still are in my heart. I love all of you.

I was one of Steven's class mates in the class of 2005 at West Henderson. I am very sad about the loss... Steven was an awesome person, and in my eyes I also see him as a hero. People used to always pick on me in school, and I remember one day steven said ya'll that ain't funny, come on grow up and just leave her alone. They stopped for the day... And that meant a lot to me. I wasn't as close to him as alot of my friends were, but that act of kindness is one I'll never forget. I will always remember his willingness to stand up for what was right. And if I could only tell him one last thing, It would be thank you Steven...
