Jordan C. Trantham

April 7, 1989 - January 22, 2021

Jordan C. Trantham, 31 formerly of Mills River, passed away on Friday, January 22 in Charlotte, NC.  Born in Hendersonville, he was the youngest son of Jeff and Teresa Reece Trantham of SC.  A 2007 graduate of West Henderson High School, he was a longtime employee of FedEx.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harry and Lorraine Trantham and Jud and Ann Reece.

Jordan was an avid golfer and sports fan, especially the Carolina Panthers and the UNC Tarheels.  He loved board games, especially Trivial Pursuit, which he always won, and UNO isn’t UNO unless you’re cheating!  He also enjoyed showing off his mini-golf skills.  Jordan excelled at water sports and loved trips to the lake.  He loved movies and could apply references to “Friends” to any conversation.  He loved spending time with his cousins who were his lifelong best friends.

In addition to his parents, Jordan is survived by his sisters, Chae Trantham Davis and her husband Jason of Mills River, and Jennifer Trantham McCall and her husband Chad of Huntersville; his brother Jeffory Trantham and his wife Emry of Hendersonville; his nephews and nieces whom he adored, Harrison, Payton and Grayson Davis, Rucker McCall and Annalee, Alabama and Adeline Trantham; aunts and uncles, Bonny and Jeff Cloud, Brenda and Terry Thelen and Jerry and Kathy Trantham; several great-aunts and great-uncles, cousins and extended family.  Jordan was especially close to his cousins, Nicholas Thelen (Megan), Corey Cloud (Sarah), Colby Thelen (Weesie) and Christa Tipton (Jacob).

A celebration of Jordan’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday at North River Farms, 3333 North Mills River Road, in Mills River.

In lieu of flowers, we think that Jordan would want us to have donations in his memory go to an education fund for his beloved nieces and nephews.  You can donate by clicking HERE.
