Israel Eugene Price, 65, of Hendersonville, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Born in Moore County, he was the brother of the late Marilyn Price Kennebeck of Fayetteville.
Israel served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a career welder with Rockwell International and Arvin Meritor. He will long be remembered for his gifts of the best biscotti ever made, his love of a good conversation, and his compassionate spirit.
Israel is survived by five first cousins: Rosemary Blackburn of Maryland, Bruce Carlton of Fayetteville, Robert and Willard Carlton of Charlotte, and Kent Carlton of Warsaw.

Israel price was a neighbor and friend of mine and my husband and daughter. He was the best person and friend I have ever had. I loved his biscotti and his pimento cheese was the best with the bread and butter pickle recipe he shared. My how I will miss him. We loved him very much. God bless his family. I know his at home with the lord. ❤️
