November 18, 1937 - October 12, 2019

Guy Franklin Stepp, 81, of Hendersonville went on to his Heavenly home on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Mission Hospital. A native of Henderson County, he was born to the late Amos O. and Annie K. King Stepp. In addition to his parents, Guy is preceded in death by his sister, Geneva S. Hyder; granddaughters, Meagan A. Caldwell and Chelsea C. Bishop; and great-granddaughter Allysa Andrews.

Guy was a supervisor at Kimberly Clark for 37 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 61 years, Sandra A. Stepp; sons, Lester Stepp (Esther) and Alan Stepp (Sheila); daughter, Valerie Blackburn (Doug); sister, Brenda Metcalf (Jerry); brother, Monroe Stepp (Kathy); five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. His family meant everything to him.

A visitation will be held from 7-8pm on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Shuler Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Shuler Funeral Home on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 2pm, with Pastor Dale Gilbert and Pastor Jack Samargo officiating. Burial will follow at Stepp Cemetery in Hendersonville, NC.
