Faye Surles Hall, 98, daughter of James and Jewel Surles, quietly departed this life on February 18, 2020 at The Gardens of Hendersonville in Hendersonville, NC. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Woodrow Wilson Hall, her parents, and sisters Myrtlene Surles Howe and Peggy Surles Riley.

Faye was born on May 2, 1921, in Pelham, Georgia and graduated from Cairo High School in 1938. Faye met Wilson in Miami, Florida, and moved to Havana, Florida, where she lived most of her life and where she and Wilson raised their three daughters, Dianne Hall of Hendersonville, North Carolina, Sunnie Hall Andrews of Alligator Point, Florida, Teresa Hall Roush (W. Robin Roush) of Gainesville, Georgia.

She was very active active in her church, Havana Baptist Church, where she was loved and cared for by her church family. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved so much. Faye was a loving wife, mother, and friend to to all she met.

Her beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her children and six grandchildren: Brandi Andrews of Aucilla, Florida, Ashley Andrews Scruggs of Alligator Point, Florida, Amy Andrews of Tallahassee, Florida, Allison Roush Long of Gainesville, Georgia, Timothy Robin Roush of Braselton, Georgia, and Eryn Roush Austin of Buford Georgia. She is also great-grandmother to 19 children and great-great grandmother to four children.

Faye is also survived by three siblings, Joyce Surles Cumbaa of Baton Rouge, Louisana, James C. Surles of Okeechobee, Florida, Shirley Surles Singleton (Ollice M. Singleton) of Saluda, North Carolina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a graveside service for her friends and family who wish to attend. Arrangements will be announced by Faith Funeral Home and Crematory of Havana, Florida.
