November 19, 1937 - November 13, 2020

Elmer Andrew Miller Jr., 82, of Hendersonville, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020, at the Bridge at Lake Point Landing. He is a son to the late Elmer and Dimple (Stone) Miller. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Imogene Miller, and brothers James Miller and Lyndal Miller.

Elmer was a 1956 graduate of LaFollette High School and a 1960 graduate of Tennessee Tech University. He spent the entirety of his career (over 40 years) with Magnavox/Philips as a Human Resource Manager. Elmer was an avid golfer and loved a good mystery/thriller book. His annual rite of Spring was attending the Master’s Golf Tournament with his son. Elmer attended over 50 Masters Tournaments throughout the years. He was a big Tennessee Vol fan and attended many football games. His friends would all describe Elmer as appreciating a good practical joke and he enjoyed lovingly embarrassing his close friends and family. Elmer had the ability to make everyone around him feel special. He loved the Lord and lived his life to show it.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son Greg Miller and wife Nancy; daughter Deanna Miller; grandchildren, Nicole Clark, and husband Brice, Joshua Miller, and Kassidy Miller; step-daughter Leca Bradley Harris and husband Rick; step-grandsons, Jared and wife Lindsay Harris, Brant Harris, and Bradley Harris; step-son David Bradley and wife Linda; step-grandson Luke Bradley and wife Solari (Ella); step-granddaughter Sara Bradley Smith and her husband Daniel (Philip); brother David Miller and wife Tracie; niece Elissa Cox and husband Jason; nephew Brian Miller; great-niece and nephew Ellia cox and Kaleb Cox; sister-in-law (wife of James Miller) Daisy Miller.

A graveside service will be held at one o’clock p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Edneyville United Methodist Church Cemetery.
