Gifts & Memorial Donations

Ella Bayne Goins, 85, of Tuxedo went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Elizabeth House following an extended illness. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was a daughter of the late Lannie and Cheva Bayne. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Goins; sisters, Edna Bayne, Elsie Laughter and Agnus Bayne.

Ella was a member of Tuxedo Baptist Church and had been a waitress and homemaker for many years prior to her retirement. She was a loving wife and mother, and her family was her world. Ella was an animal lover, especially her dog, Cotton. Cooking tasty dishes for her friends and family brought her great joy.

She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, Mary Goins; sister, Gussie Capps; a nephew and two nieces.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Tuxedo Baptist Church with the Reverends Phillip Winter and Michael Bennett officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
