Dorothy Louise Bogren, 100, of Travelers Rest, SC went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 17, 2014.

Dorothy was born in Bay Port, Michigan on January 13, 1914 to Clara Mae and William B. Richmond. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Bogren; her son, Keith Allen Bogren; sister, Ellen Laing; and brother, Willard Richmond.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Fowler and son-in-law, Roy Fowler of Travelers Rest, SC. Dorothy also leaves behind grandchildren, Laurel Bates (Trent) and Allen Fowler (Sarah) of Asheville and Deanna Fowler of Boiling Springs, SC; and five great-grandchildren, Megan, Thomas and Caroline Long and Hannah and Ben Webb.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, March 22, 2014 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Her body will be laid to rest at Acacia Park Cemetery in Southfield, MI.
