Dave passed from this life to his eternal home on January 19, 2022 at Elizabeth House in Flat Rock, North Carolina. During his last days, he was surrounded by love from his family.
Dave is survived by his loving wife of 39 years Jo Anne S. Stalls, his two daughters Sandra Stalls Lentz and Sheryl Stalls Faber, his three stepdaughters Adrianne Weremchuk, Joey Lauren Hachemeister, and Meredith Hachemeister, and his five grandchildren Jamie Lentz, Abigail Faber Steinmetz, D.J. Faber, Taylor Lentz Fesler, and Alexander Weremchuk, as well as his eight great-grandchildren and his sister Doris Anderson and his brother Dexter Stalls. He was preceded in death by his infant son, William Henry Stalls.
Dave was an amazing and industrious man who could do anything he set his hands to. He was Vice President of eastern sales for Estee Corporation. He then moved to Texas with his wife Jo Anne where they bought a food distribution company which Dave and Jo Anne ran together for ten years.
After selling the company, Dave and Jo Anne moved to Hendersonville, North Carolina in 1995, where they bought a beautiful property in the mountains, and enjoyed many years of country living there together and with their extended family. Dave fulfilled his dream to live out his days with Jo Anne in this beautiful place. He loved this land, his family, his dogs, and especially his wife Jo Anne who made it possible for him to stay in this place until the very end of his life. May he rest in peace.

What a beautiful service. I felt like I was there. I learned things of Dave's life I never knew, and the great love from his family was very strong. I wish I could have been there to hold my sister's hand. She and Dave had such a long and wonderful life together. Jo's devotion to Dave was inspirational. Love you always, Dave. May you find peace in God's loving arms. You will always be in my heart.
